Happy Early Childhood Educator’s Day from Child Care Super
We’re delighted to share with you a few words from our 2023 Sponsor Child Care Super:
“Children are not the people of tomorrow, but people today. They should be allowed to grow into whoever they were meant to be – The unknown person inside each of them is the hope for the future.”
– Janusz Korczak
Being part of the village that raises a child is an incredibly rewarding role, but that doesn’t mean it’s an easy one. And while at Child Care Super we know that educating and caring for children is a huge responsibility, sometimes the individuals who work in early learning and childhood education don’t get the credit they deserve.
That’s why we’re super proud to be sponsoring Early Childhood Educator’s Day in 2023 – we want to shout our gratitude, admiration and awe from the rooftops and make sure everyone else knows it too!
As a super fund, our members are mainly women, which makes sense given early childhood education and care is a female-dominated industry. Historically, women have been less celebrated and appreciated by society for the work they do, both at home and in the workforce. And we’re all about changing that. It’s another reason why we’re so excited to be supporting ECE day and celebrating the incredibly smart, hardworking women in the early learning industry.
To all of you – thank you. Thank you for the work you do to lay the foundation for the learning and development of Australian children. The impact you have on the lives of the children and families you work with is immense. We know those communities rely on you and we’re grateful for everything you do to support them.
To any employers in the industry who use Child Care Super as a default fund – we thank you too. We hope that today you are celebrating your wonderful staff and supporting them in any way you can.
Don’t forget that anyone who is a member of Child Care Super has access to Virtual Care, an app from our insurer Metlife, that’s designed to provide members and their immediate families with a range of expert medical and wellness services.
Using Virtual Care your employees can receive in-depth, confidential medical reviews from a doctor, as well as the option to submit online questions to GPs and paediatricians. They can also speak to a mental health clinician at no charge and discuss nutrition and fitness with one of Virtual Care’s qualified dieticians or exercise physiologists.
Child Care Super is thrilled to be sponsoring Early Educator’s Day 2023 – thank you for allowing us to help spread awareness and recognition for the early learning sector and to be a part of this special event.
