Attention: Early learning service providers

To help you and your team celebrate Early Childhood Educators’ Day 2023, our friends & experts in Early Education Uniforms, Cargo Crew, have produced a new range of gorgeous apparel & merchandise. Not only are they an Australian family business, they design uniforms built to last and designed for comfort in our very busy roles.

Every year we like to select a theme for the apparel which reflects what’s going on in the early learning sector from an operational and cultural perspective.

This year in recognition of the important role that our early childhood educators play in the life of the children in their education and care, the theme for Early Childhood Educators’ Day is “Planting the seeds for a better future”.

Cargo Crew have brought this design to life and we hope this theme strikes a meaningful chord with early learning service providers, the families who attend early learning services and most importantly with our valued early childhood educators.

This year you can choose from a selection of T-shirts, aprons, tote bags, sun hats and key rings to help your team celebrate Early Childhood Educators’ Day in style!

We are thrilled to launch our brand-new website for Early Childhood Educators’ Day 2023.

The website has been developed by the Australian Childcare Alliance for the benefit of the entire early learning sector.

As you can see, the new website offers a new and improved, vibrant online platform designed to inspire, excite and foster creativity, to make sure everyone in our early learning community has the resources needed to plan, prepare and ultimately celebrate an amazing Early Childhood Educators’ Day.

The new platform also allows for greater opportunities for our early learning community to show their support and participation in the event.

We encourage early learning service providers and families to visit the How To Get Involved webpage and explore the suite of printable materials on the Resources webpage to get inspired.

We also invite early learning services to show their participation by adding their service to the map of participating services on the homepage and sharing their photos of celebrations to the online photo gallery.

We will continue to update our website regularly with fresh content to keep the early learning community up to date with the latest news and special give-aways.

We would like to send out a heart-felt thank our 2023 event sponsors – Cargo Crew, Child Care Super, Tanda and TELUS Health (formerly LifeWorks) – for their generosity and support, which has enabled the development of this new platform, the community videos and the other online resources.

We hope you enjoy perusing the new website and find it useful in getting inspired for this year’s celebrations!

Together, we can showcase the nation’s gratitude and appreciation for early childhood educators, making Early Childhood Educators’ Day 2023 a truly memorable and impactful occasion.

Deadline: Friday 16th August, but the sooner the better!

Every year we introduce a new the theme for Early Childhood Educators’ Day to keep the annual event fun, fresh and in touch with the what’s going on in the early learning sector from an operational and cultural perspective for that particular year.

During the last two years, the impact of COVID-19 was ever-present, so the theme in 2021 was “Rain or shine, we’re here!” whilst in 2020 it was “Essential and I know it!”  We hope that these themes resonated well with each and every early childhood educator.

In 2022 as with the greatest impact of COVID-19 hopefully behind us,  Early Childhood Educators’ Day focuses on the significant advantages children gain from attending quality early learning services, and the important role that early childhood educators play in shaping our young children’s worlds.

Children who enjoy quality early learning are likely to be well socialised, confident, inquisitive about the world, accepting of diversity, resilient to manage challenges and also to be life-long learners.

These benefits flow on to our families, the wider community and the Australian economy.

In recognition of the wonderful work of our early childhood educators, this year’s theme for Early Childhood Educators’ Day is “Shaping their world“.

We hope this theme strikes a meaningful chord with early learning service providers, the families who attend their services and most importantly their early childhood educators.

The theme is beautifully illustrated in this year’s apparel designed by our Apparel Sponsor Cargo Crew.

You can click here to order from their gorgeous range of T-shirts, aprons, bucket hats, tote bags and key rings.

Please be sure place your orders by the deadline of Monday 1 August, 5pm
